|Rob Sachs established SACHS Construction, LLC in 2004 and is the President of the Company. Mr. Sachs has been working in the construction industry for over 30 years. Mr. Sachs began as a tradesman while attending college. He has since held the positions of Superintendent, Project Manager, Estimator, Chief Estimator, Vice President, and Sales and Marketing Manager throughout his career prior to starting SACHS Construction, LLC.. Having practical knowledge in all aspects of the industry is vital in managing the company. Mr. Sachs leads his staff in the company's core value of serving the client as the end-goal of every project.
Mr. Sachs has extensive experience in a multitude of project types . Throughout his career he has built over one thousand tract homes and numerous multi-family developments. Notable commercial projects include large scale chain hotels, universities and colleges, megastore shopping centers, banks, medical offices, boutique restaurants, and various other retail and art galleries.
Mr. Sachs is an active member of the Southwest Colorado Home Builder Association, National Association of Home Builders, Colorado Restaurant Association, La Plata Fire Code Board and is a Charter Member of the Business Entrepreneurs of Durango.
Mr. Sachs earned a degree in Construction Management and is a licensed contractor in California, New Mexico and Colorado.
|Rick Coffman is a lead superintendent for the company. Mr. Coffman brings knowledge of all aspects of construction with him to SACHS Construction. He was raised in a general contractors family where his uncle taught him how to frame at an early age. From there, Mr. Coffman became well rounded throughout his career where he has held titles of project
manager, estimator and partner. Some of his work has been featured in Phoenix Home and Garden Magazine. He also spent 10 years working as a project superintendent and estimator in Hawaii , where he began construction on the Kukui’ula Plantation Luxury Resort. Mr. Coffman’s experience ranges from fast-track residential homes to national super/mega stores.
Mr. Coffman attended Arizona School of Contractors where he received training in construction management. Mr. Coffman also holds a 10-hour & 500-hour OSHA certification.
|Jay Foster is a lead superintendent for the company. Mr. Foster brings 20 plus years of industry experience with him to SACHS Construction. Prior to joining the team, he owned and operated a profitable construction firm in New Mexico where he specialized in high-end residential homes and residential developments including a 64 townhome complex and 5 master planned communities. Mr. Foster is a multiple award winning builder for homes he completed in Salt Lake City and Farmington. Since joining the SACHS team, Mr. Foster has been an asset to the company . He brings his skills in the trade and knowledge of leadership and management with him and utilizes it on every project.
Mr. Foster attended the University of Arizona where he majored in finance. He attended a 16 week leadership course through acclaimed Franklin Covey trainings. He has an extensive background with Total Quality Management. He also holds a 30-hour OSHA certification.
|Sam King is a Project Engineer and the Data Operations Manager at SACHS Construction, LLC. Sam brings over 25 years of experience to the Sachs Construction team. His duties include project engineering, data management and contract administration.
Sam was born and raised in Dallas County, Texas. He earned a bachelor of arts from Texas Tech University and a juris doctorate from the University of Houston. Since 2000, he has been a licensed member of the State Bar of Texas. Sam has lived in London, Glasgow and Mexico City and visited all 50 U.S. states. He speaks fluent English, respectable Spanish and bad Portuguese. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family, martial arts, making music and outdoor recreation.
|Cindy Davis joined SACHS Construction, LLC in 2004 and is the General Manager and Accountant for the Firm. Prior to joining the team, Ms. Davis had over 25 years of experience as a public accountant with the construction industry being her focus. Ms. Davis taught for a number of years at Paradise Valley Community College teaching courses in accounting and business organization. She has been an active member of the Women’s Council of HBASC for three years and has volunteered as treasurer with many non-profit organizations. Some of those organizations include PTA, Bellaire Golf Course Membership, Hill Crest Golf Course Membership and Cave Creek Golf Course Membership.
Ms. Davis graduated from Arizona State University with a BS degree in Accounting.
